I have severe asthma allergy , I am taking allergy Shots for almost 6 months now , will it get cure , because I am not taking any medication or inhaler intentionally just to avoid side effects of medication but still I daily face problems, will immunotherapy woro for me , if I am not taking asthma medication Daily??

How have you been feeling and how have your allergy symptoms been since just taking allergy pills and the other things you talked about? Do your allergy make you really tired and brain fog because that’s how I feel.

I just started mine this past week and it’s the best decision I ever made! No medication’s work for me anymore and then I have to deal with the side effects of this medication’s during spring allergy season. This past year was the worst season I’ve experienced so that’s what made me be seen by an allergist. My daughter has mild asthma, and I’m considering getting her allergy tested and allergy shots. I would love for both of us to eventually be medication free. Thank you for sharing!

Do you alternate walking/ running or do you actually run a full 7 miles with no breaks or slowdowns? If the latter, that’s beyond belief impressive I must say🔥

have you considered allergy drops? there is supposed to be less of a reaction. recently did the skin prick test and my back pretty much looks like your:(

I did about 4 months of shots in the build-up phase (like 1-2 per week). When they got to the "red" vials the nurse was like "we'll see how far you get on this one." I was like uhh..ok..err. Because pretty much I didn't have really much of a reaction past an itchy arm and mild swelling to the shots. Then these red ones...yikes. I had two they were okay, though the second one my arm had more of a lump in the injection site.. then the third one I had hives all over and my head felt like it was on fire. They said "congrats you made it to maintenance! " So they are reducing it down by two steps and that is the maintenance dose. :0. So the high level one was "too high" for me. (like ya think?). A dime is not a severe reaction... Very weird. Severe is like your arm is a softball or you get bodily hives. Zyrtec will (over time) make you like a zombie.

I just started my immunotherapy treatment today. I'm not going to lie, I'm still scared because I'm allergic to damned near everything. And I'm paranoid about the side effects. I just don't want to go in and get the next series of shots and I i start breaking out in hives or something...The first three shots were ok. Not great though. But thank you for those helpful tips.

Currently, the cost of immunotherapy is $3800 per year plus $15 per shot. That is with insurance. Without insurance, on a cash basis, it was the same price. Side note, insurance is a scam. Consider the insurance industry as a large steal container, consider the medical industry as hydrogen gas. Whatever shape the insurance industry takes, the medical industry expands into the space with equalizing pressure. It is an absolute scam.

Can it help to heal eczema?

I don't check in often anymore, but I do on occasion. And I still enjoy watching these. I hope they never end. I don't know how many years I've been watching these. TBH, I don't know even remember starting! LOL. I hope all is well.

4 miles? That’s still pretty impressive considering your breathing limitations. Another thing you forgot to mention about running is how much water intake one must get to stay hydrated. It may differ by one’s weight and diet.

Had a lot of the same thoughts about the intensity and relentless pace but am still enjoying the process. Do you think you will be ready to apply by next cycle? I have chronic rhynitis and prone to asthma. Recently i has several asthma attacks and had allergy test done. My doctor also did recommend i do the immunotherapy for 3 yrs and i can spray under my tongue everyday. It was found allergic to 2 kind of mites n molds. But seeing your test result, yours really bad. Mine was just smaller than mosquito bites and just only 3 of them. My test didnt cover that many items and just done on the arm. Im kinda in between fence if i will do it or not since i do get attacks from strong fragrances and vehicle fumes which cant be immunized. So im really wondering if its worth it at all. I was looking in the web of people have undergone it and if theres really total recovery from rhynitis and asthma. Only found your video. I didnt know that you need to start over again if you have allergic reaction to it. It also makes me wonder since im already expose to those allergens daily why i still havnt develop an immunity for it so whats the difference for the immunotgerapy which also expose me to the allergens daily.

I'm pretty much allergic to everything, both in the natural world and 24 out of the 80 chemicals they test for contact dermatitis. I love cats, still have them even though I'm allergic. I'm almost 63 and have been having allergy shots for 2 1/2 years--much improved. My allergist said that if I were younger I probably wouldn't have needed shots for so long, so get them when you're young!!

I'm currently going through my own health journey right now. Last year summer time 2022 I had an allergy asthma attack while doing yard work. The attack that I was diagnosed with is called bronchospasm. I was placed on an inhaler. I just did my 2nd skin test. First one was on my back and the 2nd was on my forearm. I'm allergic to mixed grass, various tree species, different weed species, dust mites and I'm allergic to dogs. (Last one makes me sad) No food allergies and no mold allergies. RN told me that it's a process so I go back in 3 months to see if I get approved or not. Hopefully I do, it sucks being on an inhaler. I cut out smoking and I'm dieting so both have definitely helped me breath alot better .

What happens if you are doing allergy shots but then you need to travel abroad for awhile? I'm concerned that I would be wasting money if I start it and then have to pause when I travel abroad?
